    • What is Nightlife?

Nightlife is an entertainment discovery app that offers the latest drink specials, concerts, and events. Users can interact with one another across their city, and share what they find on social media.

    • How much does the app cost?

$0.00 - available for free in the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.

    • Is the app available on iPhone and Android?

    • What is a Nightlife Profile, and how can I create one?

A Nightlife Profile is a personal account on Nightlife. When you join Nightlife, you get a Profile. This is where you can connect with friends and businesses, post updates on your city’s Nightline, or create group chats to plan your night out with friends.

To create a profile, download the Nightlife app and signup with Facebook, Twitter, or your email address. Once you sign up, you will be taken through the steps to create and activate your Nightlife Profile.

    • How can I find out more about what's happening in my city?

Our team works around the clock to find the best nightlife in your city. Visit our blog for regular updates (best patios, mimosa lists, etc.) or visit our list of cities for our "City Profiles": a one stop shop for everything going on in your city.

    • What is a "special", and what is an "event"?

A special is a daily, often recurring, offer listed by a business on the Nightlife Tonight view. Specials can also be featured items you’d like to highlight. “$2.00 Domestic Bottles on Mondays 4-7pm”, “½ price apps every Friday and Saturday”, and “$20 Sunday Bottomless Brunch” are great examples.

An event is a businesses’ planned public, or social, occasion. Events can be found on our City Profile pages or on the Explore tab for any city within the Nightlife app. Bar crawls, concerts, music festivals, fundraisers, watch parties, and super bowl parties are examples of common events seen on Nightlife. Some events require tickets to attend, and those can be purchased via the Nightlife App.

    • How are events sorted on the Today/Tonight view?

Nightlife uses a patent-pending algorithm to calculate the best possible specials and events to show you in real-time. All information displayed is personalized to exactly what Nightlife thinks you are looking for at that time.

    • What does it mean to "connect" with another user on the app?

Connecting with another user is the first step to growing your Nightlife network. Connections create a bond between you and another user, allowing you to receive updates when they interact with the Nightlife app, send them direct messages, or tag them in your your updates to invite them to join you out in your city tonight.

    • What does it mean to "follow" a bar or restaurant on the app?

By following a bar or restaurant on Nightlife, you improve the personalization of your going out experience by indicating you like what that business has to offer. You can also receive the latest updates and events from them instantly! These could include new happy hour specials, upcoming concerts, or an alert offering a free drink to the next 10 people that show up to a bar in your area.

    • I don't see any specials on the app tonight, why?

Don’t worry, Nightlife can still be your guide to the latest specials and events in your city.

First, make sure all of your Filters on the Tonight view are turned off.

Second, try logging out and logging back into the app. It helps to kill the app before logging back in, as this assures you have a fresh app state.

Still no specials? Please message us on Twitter or email support@nightlifetonight.com with your issue and we will look into it right away.

    • I am unable to find a particular business on Nightlife. Why is that?

This business has not yet been added to Nightlife! We are always trying to find new places to list on the app, so please let us know if we’ve missed something. Tag the business and @nightlife on Twitter (or @nightlifeapp on Instagram or Facebook), or shoot us an email and we will work to get the business and information added.

    • How do I message more than one friend?

You can currently start a conversation with any User Profile or Business Profile on Nightlife. Group Conversations is a feature our Engineering team is currently developing, and you can follow us on Twitter to be the first to find out when it is added.

    • Why can't some business pages be claimed?

Claiming a business on Nightlife requires that you verify essential business information.

If you can see your business is listed on our website, but you cannot see a “claim” button, this means that your business has already been claimed. The business page may have already been claimed by someone working at your business.

We recommend checking with managers to see if anybody claimed the business as a test. Due to privacy concerns, Nightlife is unable to disclose who claimed the business, but that person is able to request access for additional users.

If you've done all of the above and are still unable to claim your business page, please contact our Support team.

    • I cannot access my business's web or mobile dashboard.

Please try the following if you are having issues accessing your dashboard:

If you are trying to access from the web dashboard, try refreshing your browser cache to assure you have the latest version of Nightlife downloaded.

If you are trying to access from the mobile dashboard, try completely killing Nightlife and opening it from your home screen.

If you are still not finding any success, please try logging out and logging back into your business account.

If you are still having issues, please contact us immediately and provide a brief summary highlighting the issue and we will get back with you as soon as possible.
